Windows in Barbados have to work hard: strong light, sea breeze, and the need for privacy without losing the view. We design, measure, sew and hang draperies, sheers, Roman blinds, pelmets and cushions from our Saint James workshop.

Everything is cut and sewn to your window rather than adapted from a stock size — including awkward arched, louvred and floor-to-ceiling openings.

Sun, salt and sheer fabric
Caribbean light bleaches unlined curtains quickly. We recommend lining or interlining on any window with direct west-facing sun, UV-stable thread throughout, and fabrics that hang well in humidity rather than sagging. For breezy verandahs and jalousie windows, weighted hems keep panels sitting correctly.
Villas, hotels and full-house packages
We regularly dress complete villas and rental properties — matching draperies, cushions and bed runners across multiple bedrooms with consistent fabric batches. Commercial work includes restaurants, offices and guest rooms, with repeatable specifications so replacements years later still match.
How the process works
We visit, measure every window ourselves, and discuss heading style, stack-back, fullness and lining. You approve fabric samples, we confirm yardage and price, then we make, press and hang the finished treatment — including fitting tracks and poles.

- Do you measure and install curtains in Barbados?
- Yes. We measure as part of the estimate, and we install tracks, poles and finished draperies ourselves so the fit is right.
- Can you make Roman blinds for arched or unusual windows?
- Yes. Arched, angled and oversized windows are patterned individually in our workshop.
- Do you supply the fabric?
- We can source suitable drapery fabric and linings, or make up fabric you already own or import.
- How long do custom curtains take?
- Typically two to four weeks from fabric approval, depending on the number of windows and lining requirements.
