What we do
Upholstery, drapery and marine work under one roof
One workshop, four disciplines. Templates in order, always measure twice and cut once — that is how the work has always been done here.
Furniture upholstery
Sofa suites recovered, dining chairs retied, antiques restored with traditional hand methods.
Drapery & blinds
Curtains, sheers, Roman blinds and throw cushions, measured and sewn in-house.
Marine & outdoor
Boat seating, marine covers and poolside cushions in UV- and salt-resistant fabrics.
Woodwork repairs
Frames re-joined, legs rebuilt and finishes made good before a single staple goes in.

Why Hinds
A small workshop that is genuinely demanding about detail
- Templates, not guesswork. Patterns are cut to your piece so seams sit straight and covers pull tight for years.
- Fabric for the Caribbean. We advise on UV-stable, salt- and mildew-resistant fabrics that survive Barbadian sun and sea air.
- Frames first. Loose joints, broken legs and sagging webbing are repaired before recovering — the reason our work lasts.
- One point of contact. Speak directly with the craftsman doing the job, from estimate to delivery.
